MSF Supply is an independent procurement agency created and controlled by MSF-B, which holds 99.99 % of the shares of its subsidiary and which appoints all members of its Board of Directors.

MSF Supply was set up in 1989 as a cooperative company. When it created MSF Supply the objective of MSF-B was to set up a separate procurement organisation adapted to the needs of emergency operations undertaken by MSF-B as part of its humanitarian assistance mission. MSF Supply does not seek to make profits by its actions.

MSF Supply obtained the status of Humanitarian Procurement Centre (HPC) over 20 years ago. It works exclusively with emergency or development humanitarian organisations, non-profit associations or institutions with a social objective. These must be able to prove their independence relative to all political or military organisations and agree not to resell the products that are bought from us.
